Le Mans Classic 2012 |
Every two years the 24 hours of the Le Mans Classic boasts grids of the most fabulous cars of a type that competed in the original races 1923 to 1979. This year Equipe Woodgate were actively involved with two famous Aston Martins. The well known Ulster CMC 614 is an original 1935 Le Mans competitor (8th overall) and this year driven by Mark Midgley, Richard Hope and Chris Woodgate she came home an excellent 13th overall after 3 x 40 minute races. Racing success continues for DB3/6 this season with our intrepid drivers putting in excellent times with some heroic driving in changeable conditions, including the daunting night race! 1ST Aston Martin and 7TH overall !! The Aston is right at home at Le Mans
